Event Set for Dec 4 to Provide Insights into Economic Trends and Growth Opportunities in Asia

The DBS Market Outlook 2025 will be held on Dec 4, 2024, at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore. The event promises to provide attendees with valuable insights into the economic and investment outlook for 2025, along with strategies for capitalizing on growth opportunities in the region.

The event will feature two key presentations: the first by DBS economist Chua Han Teng, who will discuss the market outlook, and the second by DBS senior investment strategist Daryl Ho, who will cover the investment outlook for the year ahead.

A panel discussion moderated by Anita Gabriel, deputy news editor at The Business Times, will delve into the topic of “Seizing Opportunities in Asia’s New Growth Frontiers”. This panel will include Koh Kar Siong, DBS group head of corporate and SME banking, who will provide insights on the growth of mid-sized corporates and SMEs across six markets: Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, India, Indonesia, and China.

Additionally, the panel will feature Saurabh Dhingra, EY-Parthenon Asean financial services strategy leader and partner, and Daniel Tay, the founder and CEO of Foodgnostic, a food solutions company with a presence in Singapore, China, and Malaysia. Dhingra will discuss business strategy, new venture creation, and transformation, particularly for micro enterprises and SMEs. Tay, with his extensive experience in the food industry, will share his expertise in food contract manufacturing and expanding businesses across regional markets.

The event will conclude with a networking session, offering attendees the opportunity to connect and discuss potential opportunities in Asia’s evolving business landscape.
