Since the launch of the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority’s (Acra) new Bizfile portal on December 9, some business owners have experienced difficulties accessing e-services and processing transactions. Affected services include annual filings, company registrations, retrieving business data, updating shareholder or company information, and appointing or withdrawing position holders. Several corporate service providers have reported these issues to The Business Times.
Some users have also faced temporary unavailability of e-services on the portal as of December 24. Acra has acknowledged these challenges and reassured businesses that those affected have until December 27 to submit statutory filings due between December 9 and 20, without incurring any late lodgement penalties.
