Singapore Robotics Startup Ross Digital Raises S$4.2 Million in Series A+ Funding

Investment Led by F&N, Razer’s zVentures, and Frasers Property to Drive Expansion and Product Enhancements

Ross Digital, a robotics and automation company based in Singapore, has secured S$4.2 million in its Series A+ funding round, led by food and beverage giant Fraser and Neave (F&N). Other investors in the round include Frasers Property and zVentures, the corporate venture arm of Razer. This new funding brings the total raised since the company’s founding in 2017 to S$21.2 million.

The company plans to use the funds to enhance its products, expand into Thailand and Malaysia, and grow its team. Ross Digital has already deployed 15 robotic arms in the region, with clients including Martell, Timber+, Coffee & Toast, RazerCafe, and a prominent Singapore-based telco. It aims to add 40 more robotic arms to the market by the end of the year.

As part of the deal, Ross Digital will partner with F&N to implement and distribute its suite of robotic, automation, and AI solutions across Southeast Asia. This includes its latest innovation, the 5th wave coffee robotic barista, which replicates the skills of an experienced barista, including the creation of intricate latte art.

Gavin Pathross, CEO and founder of Ross Digital, expressed his excitement about collaborating with F&N, noting that the partnership will help shape the future of the F&B industry in the region. Through this investment, the company aims to leverage F&N’s industry expertise and deliver innovative solutions to attract Gen Z consumers.
