NTUC Foodfare and Hong Ye Group Covid-19 clusters expand

Total cases in Singapore rise to 62,051

Singapore’s Ministry of Health (MOH) reported an increase in Covid-19 cases within two known clusters:

NTUC Foodfare cluster: +2 cases, total 9 infections
Hong Ye Group cluster: +4 cases, total 21 infections

33-year-old supervisor at Hua Zai HK Style Roasted Delight Rice Noodle, household contact of five previous cases
33-year-old kitchen assistant at Hua Zai HK Style Roasted Delights
Hong Ye Group cluster
18-year-old cleaner at Changi Business Park
18-year-old full-time National Serviceman
Unemployed 16-year-old
11-year-old student at New Town Primary School
Additional community cases
Administrative worker at White Sands Primary School (one of three unlinked cases)
Student at Chua Chu Kang Primary School
13 other linked community cases
Imported cases
7 imported cases placed on stay-home notice upon arrival
4 are Singaporeans or permanent residents
Singapore’s Covid-19 update
With 23 new cases reported on May 31, Singapore’s total number of infections has risen to 62,051.
