Public Invited to Share Thoughts on Key Themes for the Upcoming Budget
The Ministry of Finance (MOF) has officially launched an open call for public feedback on Singapore Budget 2025, which will be presented in February 2025. The public consultation period will run for six weeks, from December 2, 2024, to January 12, 2025, allowing individuals, organizations, and businesses to share their opinions and suggestions on a wide array of themes.
Among the areas of focus for Budget 2025 are SG60: Building a Stronger Singapore Together, promoting skills upgrading and creating job opportunities for workers, as well as providing support for Singaporeans at different life stages.
Feedback can be submitted through both online platforms and physical channels, providing a broad scope for engagement with the public. The Budget will address financial plans for the fiscal year starting April 1, 2025, through March 31, 2026.
