Game Developer Behind Genshin Impact Launches Office, Plans to Hire Hundreds
HoYoverse, the company behind the global hit video games like Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact 3rd, has announced the official opening of its new headquarters in Singapore. The developer and publisher revealed the exciting news in a press release on 18th July.
The new 28,000 sq ft office is designed with a sleek blue and white aesthetic and will accommodate a team of professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality entertainment services. According to HoYoverse, the Singapore office will act as a “key hub” for distribution, operations, and technical support for game development.
HoYoverse has other international offices in cities like Montreal, Los Angeles, Tokyo, and Seoul.
In the wake of the Singapore office opening, the company anticipates hiring hundreds of new employees by the end of 2022. These roles span various sectors, including game development, engineering, marketing, operations, and project management. HoYoverse offers a flexible working model and is committed to providing essential equipment, welfare, and benefits to ensure a safe and inclusive work environment.
In addition to Genshin Impact, HoYoverse is also known for its other popular titles, such as Tears of Themis and Honkai: Star Rail, and has launched other entertainment-related content, including the N0va Desktop App.
Genshin Impact alone has generated over US$3 billion (S$4.2 billion) in revenue since its 2020 release, averaging US$1 billion (S$1.4 billion) every six months, according to Forbes.
