The new exemption applies to travellers arriving via land checkpoints from Johor, starting April 15, while air and sea arrivals still require the SG Arrival Card
From April 15, fully vaccinated Singaporeans and long-term pass holders will no longer be required to fill out the SG Arrival Card when entering Singapore via its land checkpoints, including the Woodlands and Tuas checkpoints. This change, announced by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) on April 13, aims to improve convenience for eligible travellers, especially those crossing the border frequently for work or study.
However, travellers arriving by air or sea will still need to submit the SG Arrival Card. The waiver applies to those who have not travelled to any country or region in the restricted category in the last seven days, though currently, no countries are listed in this category.
In addition, fully vaccinated travellers who received their vaccine in Singapore must ensure their vaccination status is recorded in the TraceTogether or HealthHub apps. For those vaccinated overseas, the vaccination record must be entered into the Ministry of Health’s registry. Digital certificates can be submitted through the ICA’s vaccination check portal, while non-digital certificates must be presented manually upon arrival.
Non-fully vaccinated Singapore residents, long-term pass holders, and all short-term visitors arriving via land checkpoints must still submit a health declaration using the SG Arrival Card e-Service within three days of entering Singapore.
