Conrad Singapore Orchard to Replace Regent Hotel at Cuscaden Road

Transforming a Legacy into a New Luxury Destination

The iconic Regent Singapore, located on Cuscaden Road, is set to be rebranded as Conrad Singapore Orchard in the coming months.

Opening Timeline and Renovations
This 440-room hotel will begin operations under the Conrad brand on 1 January 2023. A comprehensive refurbishment is planned, with the reopening taking place in two phases. The first phase will unveil the hotel’s meeting spaces and its renowned dining establishments, including Manhattan, Basilico, and Summer Palace. Full operations, featuring upgraded guest rooms, are expected by early 2024.

Expanding the Conrad Presence in Singapore
Conrad Singapore Orchard will become Singapore’s second Conrad-branded property, joining the Conrad Centennial Singapore in Marina Bay. Together, they will form part of the city’s four Hilton-branded hotels.

Ownership and Collaboration
The property is co-owned by Pontiac Land Group and Kajima Development. Pontiac Land Group, which also owns Conrad Centennial Singapore, expressed enthusiasm for deepening its collaboration with Hilton. David Tsang, CEO of Pontiac Land Group, stated: “We are thrilled to strengthen our partnership with Hilton through the new Conrad Singapore Orchard, building on our successful relationship with Conrad Centennial Singapore.”

A Storied Past, A Bright Future
Originally opened in 1988 as Pavilion InterContinental, the hotel has undergone several rebrandings over the years. It became Regent Singapore in 1992 and operated as a Four Seasons property from 1998 until 2019. Beginning in 2023, it will enter a new chapter as Conrad Singapore Orchard.
