Aetos’ mentorship programme to train 5,000 learners and support 100 proof-of-concept projects
Aetos Holdings has partnered with SkillsFuture Singapore to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the security sector with digital transformation and workforce development. Recognized as the first SkillsFuture “queen bee” in the security sector, Aetos will mentor SMEs, assisting them in adopting digital technologies and enhancing their business operations.
Under the three-year partnership, Aetos aims to equip security agencies and their employees with the skills necessary to stay ahead of technological trends. The company will offer two primary pathways for SMEs: professionalisation and job redesign, which focuses on improving employee productivity and performance through upskilling, and digitalisation and automation, which helps businesses transition to outcome-based contracting using integrated technology solutions.
Through workshops and one-on-one consultations with subject-matter experts, Aetos will provide SMEs with the tools to implement integrated business solutions and bridge skills gaps among their workforce. The programme will cover in-demand areas such as integrated command centre monitoring and intruder alarm systems.
Aetos aims to train over 5,000 learners and support 100 proof-of-concept projects for security agencies during the partnership. The initiative aligns with the Security Industry Transformation Map 2025, which focuses on improving productivity and addressing manpower challenges in the sector.
Aetos senior executive director Jerry See emphasized that technology and skills are critical for the security industry to thrive. The partnership with SkillsFuture aims to empower SMEs with the necessary tools and knowledge to build future-ready, technology-driven teams.
