Ministry warns of escalating risks amid ongoing conflict.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) has advised all Singaporeans in Israel to leave the country as soon as possible via commercial options, as the conflict in the region intensifies. Those who choose to stay have been urged to remain vigilant, monitor local developments, and avoid large gatherings.
This latest advisory follows a previous warning issued on Sunday, cautioning against travel to high-risk areas such as the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, and Israel’s borders with Lebanon and Syria. Singaporeans have also been advised to avoid all non-essential travel to Israel.
The MFA stressed the importance of taking necessary precautions, including purchasing comprehensive travel and medical insurance. Singaporeans currently in Israel should register with the ministry and maintain regular contact with family and friends to keep them informed of their safety.
For those requiring urgent consular assistance, the MFA has provided contact details for the Singapore Embassy in Tel Aviv and its 24-hour Duty Office.
