Expanded Covid-19 Vaccine Access in Singapore

Private Sector to Offer More Vaccination Options

Singapore residents will have access to more types of Covid-19 vaccines, though at their own cost and risk, as part of a new policy announced by the Ministry of Health (MOH).

Under the Special Access Route (SAR), vaccines without Health Sciences Authority (HSA) approval can be used, provided they have been authorized for emergency use by the World Health Organization (WHO).

Healthcare providers are closely monitoring the policy shift, which could expand vaccine choices through private sector channels.
