Singapore’s Accounting Body ISCA to Host Global Forum

The Event Will Address Key Challenges Like Technology and Sustainability

The Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) is set to host the inaugural World Accountancy Forum in November 2025, aiming to position Singapore as a global hub for the accounting sector. The three-day event is expected to bring together 3,000 business and accounting leaders worldwide to discuss critical emerging issues, including technology and sustainability.

Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, Indranee Rajah, emphasized in her keynote address that Singapore’s accountancy sector must take an international perspective as the global economy becomes increasingly interconnected. The forum will provide a platform for experts to collaborate on solutions for the profession’s future challenges.

ISCA also announced plans to expand its workforce by 50% as part of its broader strategy to enhance Singapore’s influence in the global accounting industry. Approximately half of the forum’s attendees will be from Singapore, while the remaining participants are expected to come from up to 30 different countries.
